How it works

From first login to first offer

A diagnostic maps your gaps, then the platform sequences your reps. You always know what to learn next.

  1. 01

    Assess where you stand

Answer a short diagnostic and the system maps your strengths onto the pattern model — no endless forms, just a few focused questions.

  2. 02

Follow a track, not a random list

Alpha Tracks sequence concepts and problems, so each session reuses what you learned the day before.

  3. 03

    Practice under real conditions

Solve in the editor, run the judge, then step into timed Interview Arena rooms to train your pace and composure.

  4. 04

Let the data steer your prep

Progress Pulse surfaces the exact topics costing you points, so week four is different from week one.

Real stories from engineers who used ProgramAlpha to get ready.

AM
Arjun Mehta

SDE-2 at a Bengaluru fintech

“The Interview Sprint track was tough but worth it. After three timed mocks I stopped panicking mid-problem — that was the whole interview.”
SI
Sneha Iyer

Self-taught → Frontend role at a startup

“I used to solve random problems and forget everything. The Alpha Tracks sequence finally made the patterns stick, because each one built on the last.”
RK
Rohan Kulkarni

SWE2 at an Indian product company

“Progress Pulse showed me I was solving easy problems again and again instead of fixing my weak areas. Two focused months and my medium-problem rate tripled.”
FK
Fatima Khan

Preparing for senior-level interviews

“The system design modules gave me a 30-minute plan I could actually follow live. I went from rambling to leading the room.”
VR
Vivek Reddy

CS graduate, Hyderabad

“The behavioural story bank is underrated. I walked in with three clear stories and finally got to talk about work I was proud of.”
NP
Nisha Patel

Backend engineer

“This is the first prep tool where the dashboard actually matches reality. The daily streak quietly turned practice into a habit.”

FAQ

Questions, answered

How is ProgramAlpha different from grinding random problem lists?

Every problem is tagged with a pattern, a difficulty and the companies that ask it. Alpha Tracks sequence those problems by dependency: you learn a technique, practice it immediately, and only then advance. Grinding random lists builds recall; ProgramAlpha builds recognition.

Is there a free tier?

Yes. The Starter plan is free forever and includes curated problems, the read-only Pattern Explorer and core progress tracking. Upgrade when you want the full problem bank, tracks and interview arena. Prices can be viewed in Indian Rupees (₹) or US Dollars ($).

What languages does the Practice Lab judge support?

The in-browser judge currently simulates evaluation for JavaScript solutions so you can work offline. A production sandbox supporting JavaScript, Python, C++ and Java can be wired in via the API layer described in the codebase.

How long should I prepare before interviews?

Most engineers see steady gains within 4–6 weeks of consistent daily practice. The Interview Sprint track is built for the final two weeks before a loop. Start earlier if you can — the system design path benefits from more runway.
